Frequently asked questions
What is GlowWave FM?
GlowWave FM is a 24/7 ad-free internet radio station playing reggae, dancehall, dub and timeless classics. It is run by Glow LLC The Glow-Network.
How do I listen live?
Press the play button on this page. No sign-up or download is needed, and it works in any modern desktop or mobile browser.
Does the player have an equalizer?
Yes. It has a 5-band equalizer from -12 to +12 dB with presets, a preamp and a loudness leveler. Your settings are remembered on this device.
What is the moving icon in the browser tab?
While GlowWave FM plays, the tab icon turns into a live equalizer that moves with the music, so you can see the stream is running from any tab. When you pause, the normal icon comes back.
What happens if the stream drops?
The player reconnects on its own. If the main stream fails it switches to a backup stream, and it keeps checking the main stream and moves back as soon as it returns.
Why does it say connection failed?
Check your internet connection and press play again. The player retries on its own for a while. If it still fails, try the web player at player.glowwavefm.com.
Can I listen on my phone or in the car?
Yes. This page works on mobile, and GlowWave FM also has an app, Apple and Android Auto pages at app.glowwavefm.com, apple.glowwavefm.com and android-auto.glowwavefm.com.
